It's been mentioned that our rapid result was a matter of the keywords in our domain. However, although it matters a bit more on Yahoo and Bing, currently it acts more like a tie-breaker on Google. Each of the following sites have been running much longer than this site and have the following rankings (as of Jan 2012): www.seocompanyorangecounty.com (page 6), www.orangecountyseo.org (page 7), www.seoorangecounty.com (page 8). Again, it's the effectiveness of the optimization that makes all the difference.
